ben dexter cooley is a musician and artist based near burlington, vt. his work spans multiple disciplines, including steel guitar, modular synthesis, information design, new media, data sonification, field recording, and more.

ben currently works as a research data visualization engineer for the complex systems institute and the center for community news at uvm. he plays in multiple bands in vermont on pedal steel guitar, bass guitar, and electric guitar.

this website is fast and minimal by design. it serves a few purposes:

• a public log of creative output
• an index of links to my other websites
• an act of unification, bringing together my various selves
